When did you realize you were Rich or Wealthy?
I was in the middle of doing my taxes when I came to the realization that I was a millionaire.
I was holding receipts of my business sales totaling over a million dollars. I remember thinking "WOW all those sleepless nights finally paid off." I never realized that I had become a millionaire over time because I was too busy pursuing my passions that I didn't feel like it was work. My business is profitable giving me consistent cashflow from following The Roadmap to Riches guide. I never thought I'd have my first million at such a young age.

I realized I was rich when one night for dinner, without even thinking twice, I paid the bill without even looking at the receipt.
After the bill was paid, my curiosity won and I looked at the receipt... to my surprise, it was over $600 for a dinner for two.
I couldn't help but remember when $600 was what I made in a month at the call center I worked at. Struggling living paycheck to paycheck, I never imagined I'd be able to pay for a $600 meal without having to worry about paying rent or what I was going to eat the rest of the month.
I realized that more often than not, I was paying for things without even looking at the cost of things.
I was able to afford things without hesitation or worries of going into debt or having to use any savings or not being able to pay the bills.
That was when I first realized I was rich.

After my third successful contract, I knew I was rich, but I had many long days of work ahead. While I was finishing the automation of the first contract, I realized that I was on the Road to Becoming Wealthy. I realized that true wealth was automizing my business and being able to have the time to spend with my family. Having financial freedom and being able to go on vacation with my family whenever we want, where ever we want, really made me realize how rich I am now.

As I walked through the warehouse full of merchandise, it dawned on me that I was sitting on $1.6 million dollars worth of products. To think that it was only 2 years ago that I started doing this part time in a cramped room and my warehouse was a 3'x4' closet space. By following The Roadmap to Becoming Wealthy, it helped increase production and monetization, doubling my company profits in a year, making me a first generation millionaire. Now I work for myself and run a 30k square foot commercial warehouse with an adequate size office. Even if I only have a million dollars worth of products and not in cash, I still consider myself to be a millionaire.

I was expanding to multiple platforms and having multiple sources of income when I realized how rich I was going to be.

We came to the realization that we were on The Road To Success when every single weekday we had to stuff both of our cars with packages for our customers and deliver them at the post office. But I think we really knew we had made it big, when the mailman had to do the daily pick-ups from our house instead of us taking the packages. Working from home, being our own boss, and making our own work hours while providing for our families is really what being rich means to us.

I must say it wasn't such a nice awakening for me. I realized that I was rich when my mom called me one night crying because her health insurance didn't cover the procedures or the medications she needed. It was a bitter sweet moment for me, on one side I felt horrible because my mom needed surgery and couldn't afford it. But on the other side I felt extremely grateful that I was able to help her and not be rendered helpless. I arraigned the payment plan and paid the $456,837.48 in full within a year. That was when I realized how truly wealthy I am. Being able to have a healthy family without going into debt or bankruptcy in unexpected events is real wealth.

I was actually at a family reunion when it hit me... I was finishing up a conversation with my cousin about being a stay at home dad and being able to say yes every time my sons want to play. Never too busy because I make my own hours... When suddenly my aunt passed by and said "you must be pretty wealthy to be able to have a stay at home mom and dad type of family". After some thought I guess she was right, I am pretty wealthy. Although it didn't happen over night, my kids know I care about having time for them and being there for anything.
